Your house has fast internet — but the barn 500 meters away, the workshop out back, or the cameras along the fence have nothing. Running Ethernet across a field is expensive and impractical. Wi-Fi extenders don’t reach. And you’re not about to become a networking engineer to fix it.

The LANCONVEY CPE820 changes that. It’s a long-range wireless bridge that connects two locations up to 3km apart — and with the digital display and one-click pairing, getting it online doesn’t even require a computer or phone. Just mount both units facing each other, power them on, and press to pair. No app, no configuration screens, no IT skills needed.

It connects over the 5.8GHz band at up to 867Mbps through a 14dBi dual-polarized directional antenna, with a Gigabit Ethernet port on the receiving end — so your cameras stream smoothly, your outbuildings get real internet, and a whole second location finally joins your network. Engineered with a MediaTek industrial-grade chipset and IP65 weatherproof, lightning-protected housing, it’s built to sit outside for years through rain, dust, wind, and heat.

Whether you’re checking cameras on your phone from anywhere or bringing an entire second building online, CPE820 makes long-range networking feel simple.

Common Use Cases:

• 🌾 Farm & Ranch — Internet for barns, stables, and outbuildings; camera monitoring of livestock and equipment across the property.
• 🏠 Rural Homes & Backyards — Extend your main network to a detached garage, guest house, pool house, or workshop.
• 🏗️ Construction Sites & Tower Cranes — Reliable camera backhaul for site and crane monitoring, without trenching cables across the job site.
• 🏭 Factories, Docks & Warehouses — Link separate buildings or remote monitoring cameras across a facility.
• 🏔️ Scenic Areas, Elevators & Communities — Stable long-range transmission for surveillance in parks, elevators, residential communities, and parking lots.
• 🏪 Stores & Second Locations — Connect a nearby storefront or storage space back to the main office network.

Installation & Setup:

CPE820 is designed so almost anyone can install it — no computer or phone required for the basic link:

• Step 1: Mount both units outdoors, facing each other with a clear line of sight (max 3km without obstruction). Mount on a pole or wall using the included stainless-steel hoops.
• Step 2: Power on both units. Use the toggle switch and digital display to set one unit to A mode and the other to B mode.
• Step 3: Press the digital pairing button — the units auto-pair on the same channel automatically. No apps, no configuration needed.
• Step 4: Connect your network devices (router, switch, or IP cameras) to the Ethernet ports.

That’s it! Your remote location is now online.

Important Notes:

Range depends on line of sight. The 3km / 1.86-mile maximum assumes a clear, unobstructed path between the two units. Trees, buildings, and terrain reduce range, so plan your mounting positions accordingly — higher is usually better.

PoE powering. Both ports support 24V–48V PoE, and LAN2 also supports 48V standard PoE — so you can power the unit from a standard PoE switch or the included 24V PoE adapter, or use 12V DC. Two 24V PoE adapters are included — one for each unit. PoE cable runs are best kept within 65m using Cat5e cable or better.
