Your main building has fast internet. The workshop 500 meters away has nothing. The cameras along the fence have nothing. The barn across the field has nothing.
Running Ethernet between buildings sounds simple — until you price the trenching, the conduit, the labor, and the downtime. Even then, outdoor cable is vulnerable to lightning, moisture, and physical damage. And once it’s buried, you can’t easily move it.
An outdoor point-to-point bridge skips all of that. Two small weatherproof units, mounted facing each other, create a dedicated wireless link between two locations — up to 3km (1.86 miles) apart. No trenching, no permits, no cable in the ground.
How It Works
A point-to-point bridge works in pairs. One unit sits at your main building (where the internet already is), and the other sits at the remote location. The two units talk to each other over the 5.8GHz band using directional antennas — like a focused wireless beam between the two points.
The key requirement is line of sight. The two units need a clear, unobstructed path to each other. Mount them high, point them at each other, and the link comes up in minutes.
One-Click Pairing — No Computer or Phone Needed
This is where our bridges are different from traditional outdoor equipment. Each unit has a small digital display and a one-click pairing button:
Mount both units outdoors, facing each other with a clear line of sight.
Power on both units and set one to A mode and the other to B mode.
Press the digital pairing button — the two units auto-pair automatically.
Connect your devices to the Ethernet ports.
No app, no configuration screens, no networking background required. A first-time user can be online in minutes.
Which Bridge Fits Your Project?
We offer two models, and the choice comes down to how much bandwidth you need:
| | CPE820 | CPE355 |
|---|
| Wireless Speed | Up to 867Mbps | Up to 300Mbps |
| Ethernet Ports | 1x Gigabit + 1x 100Mbps | 2x 100Mbps |
| Transmit Power | 20dBm | 23dBm (high‑power) |
| Chipset | MediaTek industrial‑grade | Qualcomm industrial‑grade |
| Power Consumption | Under 8W | Under 6W |
| Range | Up to 3km | Up to 3km |
| IP Cameras | Up to 15 channels | Up to 15 channels |
| Weatherproofing | IP65 + 2KV lightning protection | IP65 + 2KV lightning protection |
Choose CPE820 if: you need higher throughput — for example, streaming many high-resolution cameras at once, or carrying heavy network traffic between two buildings. The Gigabit port matters here.
Choose CPE355 if: you’re primarily connecting IP cameras or basic network access to a remote location, and want the higher transmit power for a stronger, steadier link over rough terrain — at a lower cost.
Both models support point-to-point and point-to-multipoint bridging, so you can start with a simple two-building link and expand to more locations later.
Common Use Cases
Farm & Ranch — internet for barns and outbuildings, plus camera monitoring of livestock and equipment
Construction Sites — camera backhaul for site and crane monitoring, without trenching across the job site
Factories, Docks & Warehouses — link separate buildings or remote surveillance cameras
Rural Homes — extend the main network to a detached garage, guest house, or workshop
Parking Lots & Communities — stable long-range transmission for surveillance
A Few Things to Know Before You Buy
Line of sight is everything. The 3km maximum assumes a clear, unobstructed path. Trees, buildings, and terrain reduce range — so mount higher for better results.
PoE powering. Both units are powered over Ethernet. Each bridge includes two 24V PoE adapters (one per unit), and cable runs are best kept within 65m using Cat5e or better cable.

Bottom line: if you need network access or camera coverage in a second building, stop pricing trenching. A pair of outdoor point-to-point bridges does the same job in an afternoon — for a fraction of the cost, with no cable in the ground.
